Shipping Information

At BergmannArt, we take great care to ensure your artwork arrives safely and securely. Below you’ll find all the details regarding our shipping process, timescales, and important information about delivery.

Shipping Policy

  • Processing Time: Once your order is confirmed, we typically process and prepare your artwork for shipping within 7–10 business days. This time allows us to package the painting securely to ensure it arrives in pristine condition.

  • Shipping Carriers: We use trusted and insured carriers such as DHL, FedEx, and UPS for both domestic and international deliveries, ensuring reliability and trackable service.

  • Delivery Times:

    • Domestic (Norway): 3–7 business days from the date of dispatch.

    • Europe: 7–14 business days from the date of dispatch.

    • Rest of the World: 10–21 business days from the date of dispatch.

Packaging and Handling

Your artwork will be:

  • Professionally packaged in custom protective materials to prevent damage during transit.

  • Rolled and shipped in a sturdy tube (for larger unframed works), or shipped flat in reinforced packaging (for smaller works or framed paintings).

Shipping Costs

  • Domestic (Norway): Free for orders over NOK 3,000. For orders below this amount, a flat fee of NOK 150 applies.

  • Europe: Fixed fee of €30 for all orders.

  • Rest of the World: Calculated at checkout based on destination.

For oversized pieces or custom framing, additional charges may apply. You will be informed during checkout.

Insurance

Every shipment is fully insured to protect your investment during transit. In the unlikely event of damage or loss, please contact us immediately at sigurdbergmannart@gmail.com, and we will assist with the claims process.

Customs and Duties

For international orders, please note that customs duties and taxes may apply depending on your country’s regulations. These charges are the responsibility of the buyer and are not included in our shipping fees. Please check with your local customs office for details.

Returns and Refunds

As each piece of artwork is unique, we do not offer refunds or returns unless the item arrives damaged. If your artwork is damaged during shipping, please email us within 48 hours of delivery at sigurdbergmannart@gmail.com with photographs of the damage, and we will assist in resolving the issue.

Tracking Your Order

Once your order has shipped, you will receive an email with a tracking number so you can monitor its journey to your doorstep.
